Website analysis with Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, after obtaining user consent. Relevant controllers are Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland, for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland. Google Analytics 4 practices IP anonymization by default, which means that your IP address is immediately shortened when you interact with this site. Only in rare circumstances will your full IP be transferred to a US-based Google server and shortened there. Google maintains that the IP transferred via Google Analytics will never be combined with other Google data. Google Analytics 4 is only activated with your approval via the cookie banner and can be canceled at any time via the cookie settings.
The data processed includes: usage data such as page views, interaction with the website, general location and duration of the visit; and communication data such as shortened IP addresses, user agent, preferred language and screen resolution. The purpose of this data processing is for Google to evaluate your use of the website on behalf of the website operator, compile activity reports and analyze site performance. This data processing is legal, based on your consent under Art. 6 para.1 p.1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 p.1 TDDDG.
Google Ireland Limited, Google LLC and Alphabet Inc are the recipients of this data. Information about your use of the site is usually sent to a Google server in the United States, an action legitimized by the recent adequacy decision of the European Commission of July 10, 2023, which recognizes the certification of Google LLC under the framework of EU-US privacy protection. In terms of data storage, any data related to cookies is automatically deleted after a certain period of time, which is monthly for data that has reached its retention period, and a maximum of 2 years for Google Analytics cookies.

Google Analytics uses “cookies”, text files saved on the site visitor’s computer and allowing the latter’s use of the site to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie regarding the visitor’s use of this site (including their truncated IP address) is generally transmitted to a Google server and stored there.
On this site, Google Analytics is used exclusively with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension enabled. This extension guarantees the anonymization of the IP address by truncation and excludes any direct attachment to an identifiable person. Thanks to this extension, the IP address is previously truncated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other states party to the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by the browser concerned as part of Google Analytics is not cross-referenced with other Google data.
On behalf of the site operator, Google will use the information obtained in order to evaluate the use of the site, to establish reports on the activity of the site and to provide the operator with other services related to the use of the site and the Internet (art. 6, paragraph 1, point f) of the GDPR). The legitimate interest in this data processing lies in the optimization of this site, the analysis of its use and the adaptation of its content. User interests are sufficiently preserved through pseudonymization.
Google LLC. is certified as part of the so-called Privacy Shield system (entry into the register here) and guarantees, on this basis, an adequate level of data protection. Data sent and associated with cookies, user identifiers (e.g. user ID) or advertising identifiers are automatically deleted after 50 months. The deletion of data whose retention period has been reached takes place automatically once a month.
Data collection by Google Analytics can be prevented by changing the cookie settings of this site. It is also possible to object at any time, with effect for the future, to the collection and recording of the IP address and data generated by cookies. The corresponding browser add-on can be downloaded and installed via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
The site visitor can prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics by clicking on this link. An “opt-out cookie” will then be placed and will allow the site visitor not to be tracked while browsing the site.
Further information on Google’s use of data, as well as setting and objecting options, can be found in Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) as well as in the settings relating to the display of advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).
Spam protection with Google reCAPTCHA
We have implemented Google reCAPTCHA in forms on our website to check whether the data entered into forms comes from human visitors or from automated machines or programs, also known as “bots”. This tool automatically analyzes the behavior of website visitors as soon as they interact with the website, using various information such as IP address, length of stay and mouse movements. The data processed includes usage data such as the website visited, date and time of access, and mouse movements, as well as communication data such as IP addresses, browser type and operating system. This processing is intended for visitors to the website and users of online services. The main purpose of this processing is to prevent abuse of our contact form, thereby improving security. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 bed. 1 bed. f. GDPR. Recipients of the data include Google Ireland Ltd, based at Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland, (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and our website hosting provider. While your personal data is processed within the EU, the retention time for the processed data is determined by Google Ireland Limited.
